but is it sweatshop free?

I've been rooting for American Apparel ever since I can't afford their product. I wrote a paper filled with nothing but good words about them in college. That was many years ago, folks. But today, I can't help but feeling disappointed. Simply because they started to carry a vibrator from their online store. It isn't the idea of carrying a vibrator that appalled me, it is the fact that I feel like it has shifted its vision. The vibrator is irrelevant to their main products (basic & no logo clothing) and most importantly, the vibrator is a HITACHI product. I highly doubt that a multi million-dollar electronic company like Hitachi shares Dov Charney's belief of running an anti sweatshop business. I'm starting to think that all this time I've been 'buying into' a false marketing. While I don't doubt that they stick to their promises and run their business free of sweatshops, I think now it's all just a gimmick that they used to get people in their demographic to purchase the products, just like everything else.

Vote NO on Prop 98

I recently finished working on the video above. I did all the drawings and animation on the video. It really is a simple animation, but hopefully our client is happy and most importantly, I hope it helps getting the message across.
